The Process

No paperwork avalanche. No mystery. Here is exactly what happens, in the order it happens.

Before You Book

You should already have, or have been told you may have, one of the conditions Texas recognizes under the Compassionate Use Program. If you have no idea whether you qualify, start at Texas Compassionate Use Program — that page lists the qualifying conditions in plain language.

Step One — A Quick Online Intake

You fill out a short web form with the basics: name, date of birth, county, the condition you believe qualifies you, and a current medication list. It takes most patients under ten minutes.

Step Two — We Confirm You’re Likely Eligible

Before you pay for a full evaluation, a team member reviews your intake and confirms your reported condition appears on the current CUP qualifying list. If it doesn’t, we tell you so and refund any deposit.

Step Three — Your Video Visit

You meet your CURT-registered Texas physician over video. The visit usually runs 15–30 minutes. The doctor reviews your medical history, talks through your symptoms, and decides whether low-THC products under the Texas CUP are appropriate for you.

Step Four — The Doctor Enters You into CURT

If the physician certifies you, they record the certification directly in the Texas Compassionate Use Registry (CURT) maintained by Texas DPS. There is no plastic card to wait for in the mail. The dispensary checks the registry electronically.

Step Five — You Visit a Licensed Texas Dispensary

You choose a Texas-licensed CUP dispensary and place your order. The dispensary verifies your CURT entry against the registry before filling.

What If You Need to Re-Up

Texas CUP certifications expire. When yours is coming up on renewal, we email you so you don’t lose access. The renewal process is shorter than the initial visit.
